Graduation Card

It's been awhile but life just seems to keep getting in the way. I made 50 of these for a girl I work with, she's graduating in a couple of weeks and wanted something different for her cards. Most of the stuff is SU. Her photo will go on the side with the gold embossed wheel.

Well today was a heartbreaking day for all of us here. My friend Jen lost two little girls in a fire this morning. Just a week ago we were all celebrating the birth of her new little girl and this Sunday we morn the death of her two oldest girls Kirsten and Katrina aged 7 & 6. They were having a sleep over at a friends and were upstairs sleeping when the fire broke out. I ask all my SCS and blogger friends to keep Jen and her other two little ones in your prayers.
I am also collecting cards for the family, if you would like to send one let me know and I will send you my address. My heart is just breaking for Jen , I wish I could do more. As a Mum I can only imagine what she is going through. God bless these wee angels.

Simple Thanks

Tried some flower dying , really like the way the flowers take the ink. Coloured the stamp with markers the look was really pretty.

Well I'm finally back, Christmas is so busy. My daughter in Australia phoned on Christmas day to tell me what she got and she got an engagement ring!!!
I don't do a lot of stamping in the winter which really bums me out because my stamp room is in the garage and it is freezing. I love this set and when I saw my friend Katies card I had to case it, thanks Katie.
